High winds Saturday bring tree limb down on car; kills Racine Woman

Police say Saturday’s high winds were a factor in an accident that took the life of a Racine woman and hospitalized her husband.

Shortly at 10:30 a.m., a limb broke off a tree, as a result of high winds, and fell on top of the car and in front of it. The incident occurred in the 9800 block of Four Mile Road in Caledonia, according to Caledonia police

Police have identified the victim as Michelle Martin, 52, of Racine. Her husband is William Martin, 51.
