Some Schools Cancel Classes As Snow Storm Continues

The National Weather Service has issued a lake effect snow warning until 1 p.m. Tuesday for eastern Wisconsin.

Storm totals are expected to be over one foot in the area and drifting is expected.

We’re also starting to hear of some school cancellations:

  • Racine Unified afternoon 4-year-old Kindergarten programs will be cancelled Monday.
  • University of Wisconsin-Parkside evening classes scheduled to begin at or after 5 p.m.Monday, March 13, have been cancelled. Morning, afternoon and evening classes on Tuesday, March 14, will be held as scheduled. Any changes to Tuesday’s class schedule will be posted on the UW-Parkside website and the university’s Twitter and Facebook pages.
