Pet parents take note: the Wisconsin Humane Society is holding discount vaccine clinics on two Thursdays this month.
Keeping pets safe from viruses and bug-borne diseases can get pricey, so WHS offers low-cost clinics to help families keep their fur-family members up-to-date on their shots. This month, pet-parents can visit the Chicory Road location in Mount Pleasant from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday and again on Sept. 17.
“Join us … Thursday in Racine to keep your animals safe and healthy,” WHS posted on their Facebook page.
In order to attend the clinics, pet-parents need to be mindful of the following:
- Dogs should be on leashes, and cats should be in carriers
- Bring any prior vaccine records
- This is first-come, first served so there could be a wait
- All animals must be in good health
- Animals cannot be pregnant
- Veterinary staff must be able to safely handle pets
- Only animal owners can consent to medical care
