Popp Named New President Of Johnson Bank

James Popp was named the president of Johnson Bank and executive vice president of Johnson Financial Group.

Thomas Bolger, president and chief executive officer of Johnson Financial Group, announced the hire on Wednesday. Popp, who accepted the position in March, served as the region head JPMorgan Chase Bank in Wisconsin and Minnesota.

“Johnson Bank has a compelling story and is positioned to grow. They’re dedicated to doing what’s right for their clients, their people and their communities,” said Popp. “I’m excited to join this great team.”

Johnson Financial Group Inc. owns Johnson Bank, Johnson Insurance, and Banque Franck, Galland & Cie, a Swiss bank.

“Jim accepted our offer in March, and today it became official,” said Bolger. “His industry expertise and stature in the region positions us well as we strive to build thriving futures on behalf of our clients and our communities.”
