Kiwanis Club if West Racine

Nonprofit Mission and Vision Statements

Kiwanis Club exists to improve the quality of life for children and families worldwide. We are a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time.

Please provide a paragraph or so about what your organization does in the community. Include any recent achievements, projects, and goals.

We have a myriad of projects we participate in and services we provide throughout Racine County including Nursing Home Olympics, Special Olympics, Kiwanis Christmas Zoo Lights, college/university scholarships, Empty Bowls, Hospital Courtesy Van, Park High School Key Club, second-grade hospital visits, mentoring and tutoring, Parkside University Geography Bowl, Kiwanis Baseball Team, and many more.

What would you like the general public to know about your organization and ways they can help/support you?

With all the projects we’re involved in and services we provide throughout Racine County, 100% of our profits stay right here in the county. We appreciate help with our two major fundraisers — catering of the Case Company Picnic at the zoo (serving about 2,500 people) and the Annual Raffle, for which we sell 210 tickets that each include a meal for two, drinks, and a prize. The major prize is $5,000 and donations are always welcome. Currently at over 60 members, we meet every Wednesday at Ascension Hospital in Racine from 7:00 to 8:30.
