Responsibilities:

An Account Manager manages the accounting and finances (basic Controller/CFO functions) for two to six clients.
They are responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Reconciles all balance sheet accounts
  • Generates all client reports
  • Applies customer payments
  • Pays client vendors
  • Reconciles bank accounts and credit cards
  • Processes and records payroll
  • Bills client customers
  • Manages the relationship of the client, with interactions in person/over the phone, up to the CEO level

Qualifications:

  • College degree, preferably in accounting, business, or math-related can also work
  • CPA/CPA-ready preferred
  • Zero to five years in a bookkeeping/accounting/finance role
  • Experience working in a small business environment preferred
  • High level of customer service with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously with a high level of attention to detail
  • Computer savvy with basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to travel to client meetings as needed, local travel
