Bill Linden

William P Linden, “Bill”, 78, passed away on Monday at Clement J. Zablocki V.A. Medical Center.  He was born in Racine on December 22, 1938, and was the third child of the late Edward and Harriet (Nee: McIlrath) Linden.

Bill graduated from St. Catherine’s High School “Class of 1957” and joined the U.S. Army serving from 1957 – 1960.  He traveled the world as a merchant marine and had made his home in San Francisco, California, and Pensacola, Florida, moving back to Racine after being hit by Hurricane Katrina.

Surviving are his siblings, Judith (Ted) Mihelich, Thomas (Virginia) Linden; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Private services with full military honors will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Town of Dover.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Trevor Peterson, Nurse Ashley and staff at Clement J. Zablocki V.A. Medical Center for their loving and compassionate care.
