Bernie Sanders to stump for Randy Bryce Monday in Kenosha

U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders (Dem. – Vt.) will appear Monday at a campaign rally for First Congressional District Democratic candidate Randy Bryce.

Sanders will stump for Bryce, a union iron worker aiming to win the Congressional seat currently held by Paul Ryan. Bryce will face off against Republican nominee Bryan Steil on Nov. 6.

“Randy Bryce and Bernie Sanders are two progressive champions who have electrified Wisconsin voters with their vision of an America for the many, not just the few,” said Wisconsin Working Families Party state director Marina Dimitrijevic. “We’re proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with them to flip Paul Ryan’s House seat and end Republican control of Congress.”

Working Families Party is sponsoring the rally. The event is scheduled for 1:15 p.m. Monday at UAW Local 72 union hall at 3615 Washington Road in Kenosha.
