Racine County Eye is a local, independent, online news website that delivers timely and up-to-date news for residents of Racine County. But we go even deeper into stories than most other websites.

Veteran journalist Denise Lockwood started the site in January 2014 with the vision of helping to fill a gap in news coverage left by traditional news sources. She has over 18 years of experience using the best practices of her trade. That means she focuses on telling well-sourced stories that are accurate and credible.

In the era of “fake news,” writing well-sourced and balanced stories helps our community. We also don’t charge for our news. We cover issues in local and state government, crime, business, and local events because it matters to us.

Do you have a news tip? Send us an email at denise@racinecountyeye.com.

Interested in advertising? Over 65,000 people come to our news website every month. We help businesses amplify their word of mouth marketing efforts.
